A: Orvexa Cloud is a multi-store e-commerce platform for Indian direct-to-consumer brands. Each store gets its own storefront, dedicated database, UPI and Razorpay checkout, COD with OTP verification and a seller dashboard for a flat monthly fee, with no platform commission on sales. Q: Does Orvexa really charge 0% on sales? A: Yes. Orvexa takes no percentage of your sales. You pay the subscription plus your payment gateway’s own charges (for example Razorpay), which every platform passes through. Prices are before 18% GST. Q: How is Orvexa different from Shopify? A: Shopify has the largest app ecosystem but charges a third-party transaction fee in India (2% on Basic) and relies on paid apps for COD and RTO tooling. Orvexa bundles India-specific checkout, GST invoicing and WhatsApp updates into a flat plan and gives every store its own dedicated database. Q: What does a dedicated database per store mean? A: Every store runs on its own database schema instead of sharing tables with other merchants. Your customers and orders are separated from everyone else’s, which reduces cross-tenant risk and makes data export and deletion requests straightforward. Q: Can I use my own domain? A: Yes. Every store starts on a free brand.orvexacloud.in subdomain. On Growth Pro you can map a custom domain such as yourbrand.in with an automatically renewing SSL certificate. Q: How do cash on delivery and UPI work? A: Orvexa supports Razorpay, UPI QR and app routing (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, CRED), net banking, and cash on delivery with an OTP check before dispatch to limit fake orders. Q: How does the free trial and auto-debit work? A: Every new store gets a full 7-day free trial. You set up auto-pay once with Razorpay (UPI AutoPay, card or net banking) and pay nothing during the trial. Your first payment is taken automatically on day 7 and then every billing cycle. Cancel any time before day 7 and you are never charged. Your bank or Razorpay sends a notice before each debit, as RBI rules require. Q: What happens if a payment fails? A: Razorpay retries a failed payment automatically and you are notified by email and SMS. If the retries are exhausted, your store moves into a read-only grace period for 7 days so you can update your payment method without losing data. Q: Is my payment information safe? A: Yes. Card, UPI and bank details are entered in Razorpay’s PCI DSS compliant checkout, so they never reach or get stored on Orvexa’s servers. We keep only a subscription reference, and we verify the cryptographic signature on every payment event before acting on it. Q: How secure is my store’s data? A: Every store runs on its own dedicated database, is served over HTTPS with automatically renewing SSL, and follows the same security baseline on every plan. Security is not a paid add-on. Our GDPR, India DPDP Act and EU AI Act documents are published in the trust centre. Q: How are Orvexa’s prices decided? A: Openly. Growth Pro costs 20% less than the average entry-plan price of comparable platforms in your country, read from each vendor’s own pricing page. Starter is 40% of Growth Pro, and paying yearly takes a further 10% off. You can see the exact comparison under Pricing. Q: Will my store show up in Google and in AI assistants? A: We build every store so that nothing technical holds it back: structured product data (price and availability), a sitemap, clean links, fast mobile pages, and permission for AI crawlers, plus an llms.txt file that tells AI assistants what you sell. No platform can promise rankings or that an assistant will recommend you, because that depends on your products, content and competition, but a store that search engines and AI tools can read clearly has the best chance of being suggested. Q: Why do prices differ by country? A: We price each market against what comparable platforms charge there (our price is 20% below their average). Shopify itself prices by country: Basic is £25 a month in the UK, €32 in Ireland, CA$49 in Canada, ₹1,994 in India and US$25 in Indonesia when billed monthly (checked on shopify.com, 7 October 2026). Orvexa prices are set in your local currency, and emerging markets use Shopify’s own lower emerging-market price in the average. You can change the country at the top of the page. Q: Is Orvexa available outside India? A: We are launching in India first. If you are in another country you can already see the prices we plan for you and join early access. We will confirm availability for your country, and any change to the planned price, before you pay anything. When your country opens, you pay in your local currency by international card through Razorpay with the same 7-day free trial. UPI AutoPay is India-only. Q: How does the WhatsApp stylist work, and what does it cost? A: Coming soon on Growth Pro. Your shopper messages your store’s WhatsApp number at any hour. The stylist asks three quick questions, such as the occasion, the vibe and the budget, builds a taste profile and recommends items from your own catalogue, then hands over to you when they want to talk or buy. It only discusses your store. Meta bills WhatsApp messages at cost, with no Orvexa mark-up. Because the shopper starts the chat, the stylist’s replies fall inside WhatsApp’s 24-hour customer service window, where free-form replies cost nothing, and so do utility templates such as order updates. Marketing templates are always charged (₹0.8631 each in India on Meta’s rate card, checked 7 October 2026), and so are utility templates sent outside the window (₹0.115 each). Check Meta’s current rate card for your country. Q: My domain is registered with Shopify. Can I bring it to Orvexa? A: Yes. You have two options. The fastest is to keep the domain at Shopify and point it to Orvexa by changing its DNS records, so no transfer is needed. Or you can transfer the registration to us: unlock the domain, get its authorisation (EPP) code, and we guide you through the rest. A domain registered or transferred in the last 60 days cannot be transferred yet (an ICANN rule), but it can still be pointed to Orvexa straight away. DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to spread everywhere. Q: Will I lose my data or my Google rankings when I switch? A: No. Your products with photos and variants, your customers and your order history are moved across, and we set up redirects from your old product and collection links to the new ones so search rankings and shared links keep working. Your data lives in your store’s own dedicated database. Q: Will my store go offline while I move? A: It should not. We build and check your new store on your Orvexa address while the old one keeps selling. When you are happy, you point your domain across, which takes minutes, and we keep your business email working. You can switch back by restoring the old DNS records if needed. Q: Can I move my store from Shopify, Dukaan or another platform? A: Yes, from Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Dukaan, Zoho Commerce, Magento or any platform that can export a spreadsheet. We move your products, customers and order history, and Magic AI helps fill missing descriptions and SEO fields. Your old store stays live until you are ready to switch the domain. ## Guides - How to launch a D2C store in India in 2026: a step-by-step checklist (https://orvexacloud.in/blog/launch-d2c-store-india-checklist/): A practical checklist for launching a direct-to-consumer store in India, from product and pricing to payments, shipping, legal basics and your first sale. - How to migrate your online store without losing sales (https://orvexacloud.in/blog/migrate-online-store-without-losing-sales/): A seven-step plan to move your store to a new platform with no downtime: export data, rebuild, test, set redirects, switch DNS and monitor rankings and orders. - How to reduce COD returns (RTO) without losing orders (https://orvexacloud.in/blog/reduce-cod-returns-rto/): Cash on delivery is popular but costly when parcels come back.
